I have been making some small changes to my diet, cutting sugar from my tea and trying to bake no sugar low gluten cakes when I get the chance. That doesn’t sound very delicious does it? But honestly, the recipes by Amber rose are really nice because the fruit really makes up for the no or low sugar bit. Yes the cakes do miss that sudden hit of sweet you get when eating a normal dessert but after the third mouthful you are used to it and it tastes delicious! Not only that but the book looks lovely too. I do recommend it if your looking to start baking with spelt flour, honey and maple syrup instead of the standard ingredients.
